Oak Whiskey Barrel Planter

These medium heavyweight genuine Oak Whiskey planters come in a variety of finishes or can just be left untreated, depending on your preference.  We always secure the metal strapping to avoid them slipping and falling off.

If varnished we hand paint the wood with 2 coats of outdoor wood varnish and treat the strapping with black outdoor hammered metal paint. Drainage holes can be added to the bottom of the planter for free (please add to basket as a separate item). However, if you wish to use the planter as a pond/water feature we leave the base intact, this is the default option.  Feet can also be added to lift it off the ground, additional cost of £5 per barrel (again please add to basket as a separate item).

Dimensions are (approx) : diameter 60cm (28.5″), height 44cm (17 3/4″), rim thickness 2.5cm (1″)

All the barrels have been used in the whiskey industry so are weathered and seasoned and will last outdoors for years to come.
